Don't think that has anything to do with globalism. That is just a country deciding to use the crew as hostages to extort a company for money. This is a practice that probably goes back to the beginnings of civilization.

Globalism would be creating an international law they states it is illegal for a country to take a crew hostage. Which I think would be a very good thing to do.

Again, I was referring to the 4-5 different nationalities involved in the companies that run it. It’s fairly insane to my eye, but if this is the norm, then fuck those crew guys. Starve em.

It isn't really any different than other industries. Usually it is done with shell companies, moving your company to a tax haven, etc. they are all just corporate shenanigans trying to game the system to get the most advantageous laws applied to them. This is why Apple has so much money stuck in Ireland.

That's the problem though, it seems that most millennials can't create, those that do shouldn't and those that try have to use what others created to even get noticed...

We are literally in a negative golden age... things are being created, but the better question is should they be?

it's because they're on the internet wayback machine all the time, it only looks back, it doesn't look forward

they are on their phones all the time, paralysis by analysis, including paralysis of creativity & self actualization

they can't look to the future, they can only look at what has happened, then assess

but they never stop assessing, it becomes obsession, then they don't move forward

they are prisoners of the future, the future is this ever present doom that never comes, but that paralyzes them

it's like they are in free fall, but falling backwards, they can't flip over into falling forwards into the future

thus they can't envision where they might go, they can't steer, they can't come up with any new ideas

they blame the "Boomers" for not letting them have nice things

but if the Boomers didn't tell the Millennials what to do, the Millennials wouldn't know what to do with themselves
