Masks are useless, no everyone needs a mask of at least N95, no masks are useless, repeat.

I won't even get into the details of how they still hold tight to their political biases, even in face of a literal global crisis.

I feel your pain, what does she do ? Is it an office enviroment ? Industrial ? Retail ? Emergency Responder ?

We're both in healthcare, different places. I'm IT, so I can work from home. Her original job isn't necessary with so much closing down. Therefore, her original duties are pretty much on hold. A lot of people where she works have jobs that no longer apply in this environment, so they have been put on hold. They don't want to to pay them all to be at home doing nothing, so they came up with new jobs, like checking people coming into the building. Taking temps, asking questions about travel. The building she's at is not the hospital, but it does have patients coming in. Any personal contact is a risk, so I'm not happy about this new job. It was this or use her vacation up, or quit. This could go n for a while, so we don't want her to quit right now. At least they give them some protective gear. Still, one wrong encounter and we could all be screwed.

Before my wife's company actually went to work from home, on my recommendation my wife stopped going in and told her people to stop going in.

Now the people who were still going in are showing symptoms, but all of my wife's team have been home for two weeks

Just lucky my wife is a boss and can make those sorts of calls for herself and her team
