The PPE is not that effective anyways, it's more psychological, handwashing is life

As I've said, I have two N95 masks,

but actually the virus is so small it won't be filtered so they are not CBRN masks

I do also have an S10 full CBRN military respirator, but I'm holding that in reserve for extremis

All the mask is for is to keep spray off your face, you can use a standard bandana for that

Everybody wearing masks can slow the spread of the virus by everybody having a spray guard in effect

But it doesn't provide that much protection for the individual

Don't get a false sense of security from the kit, handwashing is life

It's not about the iron, it's all about the shooter

Slow is smooth, smooth is fast

This is why I don't leave the compound unless I have to

Every time I go out and back in, I have to do a full decontamination drill

Easier to just lock in and stay in

Protip

The mask is not a gas mask, it's just a spray guard for coughing and sneezing

So actually a standard neck gaiter would work just as well, that's what I use

Also you can get it in the eyes, so don't forget to wear a visor with that mask

In terms of surgical gloves

Single use only, then throw away

If you wear them for more than one use, they're no different than your hands, they are contaminated

So you keep a box of them handy, and you expend them downrange as you use them

handwash first, then don gloves, execute the task, dispose of gloves, handwash again

The thing that makes most peoples PPE useless is that they're not trained to use it

It's not about the kit, it's all about the operator

In terms of hand sanitizer, that's just an emergency back up if you can't handwash

It's not nearly as effective as soap and water surgical scrub, so don't use instead of handwashing

Handwashing is life, hand sanitizer is a field expedient

Lysol wipes do work on viruses, they kill H1N1 so they kill this bug

But they are in extremely short supply, so if you have them as I do, conserve them

Only use the wipes for what you need to, otherwise just keep on handwashing
