Whatever, If you're happy I'm happy

Not my wife and kids

/shrugs
I’ll try to do better next time lol
Go get an 870 right now with Magpul Dynamics The Art of Tactical Shotgun

Not much else to do, might as well train
I’ve got plenty to do, working from home with 4 kids. The action never stops.

But I’ll look into it. I should pull up the ammo thread where I mentioned the pump shotgun and you all yelled at me not to go that route.

Whoever did that is a retard. I would have argued an AR is just as good for home defense but it's down to personal preference at that point. Really a pump is probably better if you know what you're doing.

The AR is easier to use, point and click, but both less powerful and less versatile

Mind you I rock the complete package meself, wheelgun, shotgun, carbine, battle rifle

Like at my age now, I ain't taking my chances in a melee against the young

I'm bringing overwhelming firepower to ensure over match in any scenario

Welp, reading it again, everybody was in favor of the pump.

The ridicule came when I mentioned using the *pump* sound to scare off an intruder. I decided ‘silent but deadly’ was better, on that basis. Too many scenarios to contemplate, really, and my wooden floors are noisy as fuck. Anyone would hear me coming before I saw them anyway. Better to have something simple and very quickly maneuvered.

That is what the AR15 is for

Being an inexperienced shooter, those things do NOT look simple lol. Plus I would be facing a wall of pushback at home, if I showed up with a monster like that. This was pushed through in the momentum of growing uncertainty ( in her). Timed carefully, well planned and executed.

It's not a monster, the shotgun is the monster, the AR is made for conscripts to use, so it's the easiest to use
