But lefties say the free market is bad, and the more government intervention in health care the better. Of course, if that were true, Canada wouldn't be where it is right now.
Canada is particularly behind the times, because Canada prohibits the free market

The best healthcare in the world is provided by the Swiss, public system underpinned by private profit margins
All of the best health care systems in the world aren't dumb enough to prohibit the free market, but do the lefties stand up and take notice? Of course not.

Yet these "moderates" say the free market is the problem and more government health care is the solution, even though none of the best health care systems in the world are run that way.
"Moderates" are simply commies who lack the resolve to liquidate millions to achieve the World Socialist Revolution

Montegriffo doesn't know, he thinks moderate means objective observer who calls out both sides, when plenty of partisans are also capable of calling out both sides as well, he just wants to believe that such abilities are only inherent or prevalent among moderates, and doing so is confirmation you are a moderate.

The Dan Carlin Fallacy, basically they can occasionally see the bullshit of others, but they have a massive blind spot for their own bullshit, and don't realize they are spewing it, hence undercover hack bitches.

They are so undercover, they are even able to fool themselves.

People only need to travel so that they can post pics of exotic food on Facebook to make their ex-partners feel jealous about how well they are doing since the split.
Fuck them, they can get on a train and go to their nearest big city for a plate of falafels if that's all they need.
Everyone can see the world on the National Geographic channel nowadays. It's only medieval castles that need to be experienced in the flesh and if you have to get on a plane to do that because you live in some backwaters shithole that wasn't even discovered until the 15th century by a Genoan who got lost trying to find India then tough shit. You should have advanced out of the stone age earlier and built your own castles.

No offense intended.
You have a house in France. Why do you get to travel and live in two places, but it is frivolous for others. Why do you get to decide what travel is reasonable?

According to some on the MHF there is no such thing as a moderate.
All so-called moderates are undercover hack bitches.
That is why Kath no longer posts.
Moderates exist, but that doesn't make them unbiased, and a lot of people who call themselves moderates aren't, they just like to pretend they are, like Kath. Lefties in particular like to pretend their agenda is less extreme than it actually is and act like their position is simply the common sense one instead of admitting the obvious bias that exists. They like to pretend that those who openly admit their bias are the only biased ones, and they are above that somehow, because they've conflated the word objective with moderate and don't know the difference.
You are 100% right Capps.

"Moderates" have been pulling that bait and switch for as long as politics exist.

Clubgop is far more honest than any of the "moderates" on this forum. He is vicious and hilarious (and almost always right), but he doesn't put on airs. He knows what he is and doesn't make any bones about it.

I love Kath to death. She is my best friend. But fundamentally, she is being dishonest. She had this sleek leather S&M avatar, but lets be honest. She was dating an autist, and was into star trek. there is no way she was this hot chick. She is guaranteed fat irl. With that in mind, picture the dungeon sessions. Not so hot anymore right?

Personally, I think all that bondage/whips and chains shit is stupid as fuck and pitiful, but the spark of eroticism it has flickers out like a candle in a rainstorm when the participants are fat and ugly. I'm not insulting anyone, but this is something to consider.

I don't fly to France despite the fact that it would be cheaper. I drive there in my 50 mpg, 20-year-old car.
I don't live in France, my trips there last year were a necessity due to the ivy and wisteria growing out of control and risking damage to the roof tiles.
I hadn't been out there for 4 years and could not risk neglecting the place any longer. TBH, if the place was worth anything I would have sold it years ago but as I get closer to retirement age the idea of living out my dotage in the French countryside appeals more and more.
I've not been abroad just for a holiday for 20 years when I drove to Portugal and back with a couple of mates in my motorhome. The last time I flew anywhere for a holiday was 1994 when I went to Egypt for about 5 weeks.
Even my castle tour was filling in time between two work gigs in order to save the fuel involved in driving all the way back to Suffolk from Cumbria
and then returning back across the country to Wales 2 weeks later.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Nice strawman Capps. I've never said that I have a problem with private healthcare for those that can afford it.
The UK system is a mixture of public and private healthcare and I think that is the best of both worlds. If people want a room to themselves, shorter waiting lists and better food they can buy private healthcare insurance and if they can't afford it they can receive some of the best healthcare in the world via the NHS.
My only real objection to private healthcare in this country is the fact that they do very little training of hospital staff and poach nurses and doctors who have been trained by the NHS rather than pay the costs of training them themselves. This is in effect a government subsidy for profit-making private healthcare companies.

You definitely do not sell a property in the South of France, that is destination real estate

Can be justified from an Envirobolshevist position by France being 75% nuclear powered

Can be justified from a Cold Warrior position, as France possesses a robust strategic nuclear deterrent

Yeah but I haven't flown on a plane in like 10 years. I've only been to Alberta. I'll bet you are better traveled than me. That makes me a better person than you because I use less carbon jet fuel. I will forgive you (being the better person) but you owe me big time (money I hope. I have a birthday coming up. None of that anime bullshit you offered last time. Money in US dollars or Euros or Bitcoin. Don't be cheap. I repeat, please do not get me anime as a birthday present dude).
