Matthews is still playing soft.

Circling around the outside and refusing to take the rock to the house.

You can't score from the half boards, but Matthews won't get his hair mussed anymore than Nylander will.

Basically the Bruins are keeping the soft Leafs young stars to the outside.

Leafs young stars refusing to go to the net.

Power play or five on five, the Leafs just keep hugging the boards.

Same ol same ol Leafs pampered young stars,

It's not that I deserve this suffering.

But I do recognize that part of the process is that the Leafs pampered young stars will have to keep suffering.

Until they get angry enough about it to drive the net with abandon.

That process unfortunately can take several seasons of suffering and the condemnation of the fans before they wake up.

The Millenial fanbase blows way too much sunshine up these teams ass.

Because they are new.

They don't have the perspective to see that this is the Leafs from 1986.

Until the fans starting hating on this team, this team will continue to float along on a cloud of softy wofty bullshit.

They're all Superstars even tho they are soft and refusing to take it inside, the kids give them credit for losing.

American fans don't do that. If Boston loses this game, they will be crucified. That's why they win.

It's all subconscious.

Deep down, Matthews, Marner and Nylander know that they will be treated as royalty, even when they choke.

Chara and the boys know that Boston ain't having that shit.

So it is actually fear, fear of losing, which is giving Boston the edge.

Boston is more desperate, because their fanbase is not forgiving of failure.

I love these goalie apologist faggots blaming the defenders for not letting guys get unimpeded shots on net, instead of the goalies for letting in softies they can see the entire time, so fucking funny.

There's still time.

But again, I don't see much desperation from Matthews, Marner, nor Nylander.

They just ain't leaving it all on the ice, they are still floating.

It's like a slightly more feisty than usual regular season game, the big three are still phoning it in like it's January.

Just not going to the net. Just won't do it. Stickhandling around the outside, looking for an easy goal.

It's like Tyler Ennis is their best forward.

This is just a complete flame out from the big three.

Classic choke.

This team just doesn't deserve to win.

They don't earn it.

It's disappointing, but none the less just desserts.
