The Executive war powers come from the permanent state of war.

The NSA is a product of the Cold War.

FISA doesn't prevent an Imperial Presidency.

All it does is handcuff the US military and allows terrorists to hug the belt, right in the CONUS.

Any government agency can do that.

The internet data government snooping problem goes way beyond NSA.

The data is out there, there's no way to secure it other than your own encryption.
