Prohibition of Russo-Sino strategic assets deployed to the Americas is a wise prohibition, and it is not directed at the public in any way, this is national security, the for real part, with the nukes.
Even broken clocks are right twice a day, same applies to prohibitionists, on occasion.

What's wrong with that?

You've got the Chinese, Russians and Cubans sticking their noses in, Munroe Doctrine invoked is entirely apropos.
Frankly, the US would do much better focusing on Western Hemisphere Imperialism
Like who? How so?
First, I'm a fortress America guy, no foreign entanglements as a goal. But, knowing that's a fantasy at this point and understanding the US is likely going to be imperialistic, we just as well fully lockdown our back yard first.

We should strike and destory the Drug Cartels. Start in Northern Mexico and roll our way south. Clean out the whole MF, give the government back to the Mexican people. Then just keep moving south.

I'd rather have our troops on FOBs in Baja, Mazatlan and Cancun than the Korengal Valley. More in it for us too. Mexico needs regime change as much Syria.

I only oppose prohibition where it is being imposed on me and you and the rest of the private citizens.

I don't oppose prohibiting Mr. Ivan at all.

Mr. Ivan is not a private citizen, he's a thermonuclear menace with a short fuse.

First step in locking things down is locking Russian and Chinese Intermediate Nuclear Forces out of the Americas.

That and when it's a counterproductive waste of time and resources, which is usually when it's being imposed on private citizens.

In this case however; BMD and INF arms race in progress, rapidly escalating.

Stand to, stand to, the Munroe Doctrine.

What I like about Crazy John Bolton for this particular mission, is that he is actually crazy.

Crazy Ivan has been having his way with America by constantly upping the ante,

John Bolton is entirely apropos, in the face of a thermonuclear gangster.

The Russians certainly did bring John Bolton on themselves, if they weren't constantly upping the ante, they'd be less likely to be getting the Bolton Backlash right about now.

Can't maintain the Balance of Terror by playing nice in the face of crazy, that just incentivizes more crazy.

Peace Through Strength Not Weakness.
