IMO, it's still Trumps race to lose. The main reason is he is still holding in there on the number one thing he had to do, economy, jobs, middle class.

I'm not sure the Dems will take those numbers as needing to move toward the middle, I think they will double down on what you call the new generation of Dems and push harder toward Socialism.

I agree Shultz running as an old school Dem would have the best chance, but ask Dr Hash of the chances are of an Old School Dem being supported in the Democrat Party.
