We're doing pretty well out here taking in all of the manufacturing fleeing from your democrat plantations.
And the people running things are from the northeast. They get transferred when their businesses move.

Isn't that how places like Charlotte, got so popular? After 9/11 a lot of banks in NYC just moved their HQ down there or something like that?
You think businesses in the south import their personnel from the north?
Is that a serious thing that you believe?

I don't know anything about Charlotte or the banking industry, but a lot of people got transferred from the northeast when their companies relocated. It's less common now, but those corporate moves brought management and professionals. Many of the people we knew when we first got married relocated, either for promotions or because their divisions were moved. It's interesting to see the differences now when we compare lifestyles.
Boston is skyrocketing now, though, and I'm imagining that cities like Atlanta went through something similar.

I met some people who moved away from NYC because of 9/11 but the banking industry in the East has moved away from NYC for the most part.
