Anyone made an effort to cut down on his google use?
Because of the dislike of the company.

That will teach you not to watch so much anime porn in future.Hwen Hoshino wrote: i am surprised i pulled it off.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Switched to using DuckDuckGo as my search engine a long time ago. It’s not difficult.

Hes beyond hope in that department. He could stop using all search engines and he would still find a way, using the weather or dealio toolbar if necessary.Montegriffo wrote:That will teach you not to watch so much anime porn in future.Hwen Hoshino wrote: i am surprised i pulled it off.

I still have to switch back to Google sometimes. DDG is noticeably weaker in both precision and recall, and it absolutely sucks with GIS and localized searches. You probably should use Google for image search unless you don't mind anal pounding porn all over the search results. Turn on safe search and you might get a few dozen shitty images at most.

In every way I can. Unfortunately, I am tied in some major ways. Getting off that Android is probably not going to happen for a while. I was tempted to get an iPhone but I really like the Android phones better, (I love my note 8). There is no great youtube alternative, they run that site at such a massive loss, I don't see how anyone can beat them, but I do try to use other video sites first.
I use duckduckgo almost exclusively, with some Bing, I'm slowly switching everything to a microsoft email, and don't use chrome anymore. It will be nice to free myself from their social engineering/censorship machine.

duckduckgo is okay. Sometimes I can't find what I'm looking for, but for the most part it does the job. Bing is actually not that bad. But duckduckgo is best for privacy concerns, no doubt.heydaralon wrote:GCF recommended duckduckgo to me and said it was great. I still havent gotten around tonusing it, but I want to. https://searx.me
https://www.ixquick.com
https://www.qwant.com
https://www.yandex.com
Qwant is French and interesting sometimes. Yandex is Russian. I believe Start and DuckDuck both use google but supposedly don't do the thing that it do where it invades your privacy.
Ultimately there really isn't a competitor for google but using these when you are trying to find something that you know is being blackballed by SJW google can be helpful .
