Nuke:

Have you thought about designing a DIY AC unit? This one is solar powered but I tried setting up an AC unit using a bucket of ice water and a fan when I lived in a foreclosed decrepit mansion without central air 2 years ago. I couldn't get it to work and my rig kept falling over so I gave up, but I think there are ways to make it work.

The most egregious thing about walmart is that they spend millions to ensure their taxes are low while they push for things like food stamp benefits, ebt, etc. I don't like the idea of business taxes, but this is a pretty raw deal, we're subsidizing their low low prices that make them so competitive.

I do like that the Walmart Fresh by my house is open 24 hours and has automatic checkout lines. It's pretty great, I won't deny it.

And I guess it does kinda suck that this chick gets to drink and drive and kill peasants without any repercussion, but whatevs.

They don't charge taxes on gallons of water. Walmart eats the cost because they believe taxing water is morally corrupt. Say what you will but they fill a market and have principles.

Walmart plays an important role here, it's not even that I shop that much at Walmart, but Canadian retailers are notroious gougers, Walmart keeps them honest, because when I go to price things, even if I'm not at Walmart, I can see who everybody is marking their prices down to have to compete with.

For lower income people, Walmart is the go to place, but even for people of means, Walmart serves a purpose, because just because we have money to spend, that doesn't mean we're not cheap, er I mean frugal.

I shop there. I don't like going to Save Mart, the lines are way too long cus they only have one surly checking lady.

But it still sucks that drinking, driving and killing people doesn't mean shit if you're a Walton.

It provides me with $7 boxes of quest bars and $2 bags of rice.

The blueberry muffin quest bars are no joke.

Oh, and 5.95 24-pack of Coke Zero. 2.50 bottles of plain Lifeway Kefir.

Been meaning to check out Sams to see if I can get that stuff cheaper.

Definitely avoid the meat, though.

The carbon monoxide gives their meat a richer fuller taste. All meat cutters at Wal Mart use the Jungle as a manual.
