I find that people use smart as a very general term. Normally there isn't a problem in such usage, but I was bored one day. I'm sure something like this is already out there, but I designed an outline of how it could be better used.
People use 'smart' to refer to intelligence, knowledge, and wisdom, in tandem, alone, etc.
-Intelligence is your ability to think critically, analyze, problem solve, distinguish patterns, memory, etc.
-Knowledge is rote data. How much information you have in your head.
-Wisdom is practical application of knowledge or otherwise attained insights.

"Self-awareness" is in there someplace, maybe wisdom?
Self-awareness is hard to explain to people who don't have it, but if you've got any at all, you know what I'm talking about.

I think I would move Critical Thinking to the Wisdom category. Otherwise, this is a good model.

No, they are not the same. You can be very clever but unwise.GrumpyCatFace wrote:I think I would move Critical Thinking to the Wisdom category. Otherwise, this is a good model.

Intelligence without wisdom is like a bomb without a fuse.
