Federal Judge Rules California's Ban on Assault Rifles Is Unconstitutional
Full 94 page ruling https://oag.ca.gov/system/files/attachm ... 210604.pdf

One prominent gun control group said the ruling was “especially insulting” because it was handed down on National Gun Violence Awareness Day.

I found it funny as hell that he handed down the decision on a gun grabber holiday

He was appointed by Dubbya https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Benitez

Look at his background. No fucking Havard, Stanford or Columbia education. The Elite colleges are sewers of nepotism and collectivism. If Marty had gone to an Ivy League school he'd be famous by now.

This is great news, but it's going to be appealed, so no joy for, at the very least, a couple years. Following CA gun politics is long, frustrating and in general disappointing.

What's even sadder is the state of media and politicians losing their mind over the swiss army comparison. Of course they're lying when they say Judge Benetiz' analogy actually means a gun is a swiss army knife, pretending that he wasnt referring to its multiple utilities. But even if they were sincere, it's all moot since knives kill far more people than guns and ar15s are a fraction of those deaths,

In any case may the Lord bless St. Benitez.
Appealed on what grounds?

It doesn’t make any difference what grounds if you get the right judge.

Not to act nieve, but wouldn't that go against the promise and the oath the Judge took when they took the seat and robes?

The judiciary has been compromised; just look and the Flynn trial, and the sham election.

The Flynn trial never should have happened, but again, the warrants for all that BS never should have been allowed either. Liars are going to get things through by lying, once we get past that, and correct those mistakes the sooner and better off we will be.

I can't see how we get past that: the people who have power aren't going to give it up. Feminists, minorities & weirdos outnumber us so democracy won't work, and liberty isn't taught in public schools anymore, so there's no new soldiers for freedom coming down the pike.

You'd be amazed... and honestly, perhaps us old soldiers need to stand up and show it's still possible? The problem I believe if people are afraid to stand up...

In any case, we need to start somewhere, there is momentum now at the school boards about the Masks and CRT... we just need to keep the momentum moving forward.
