I hate being pessimistic about it, but the current revolution doesn't seem to be geared towards fixing the situation. Is there some universal law that I am unaware of that states things must be arranged to maximize toil?
But thinking what has been happening is what must happen seems like a failure of imagination.

Re: Would You Choose More Money or Less Hours?
I remember reading some magazine article in the high school library about how in the near future we were all going to live on 15 hours a week with the same, or maybe better, standard of living. I wouldn't have to work like a dog, sometimes barely making rent and food, and not see my family, like my parents did. That was a few decades ago.
All the economic, and social, statistics, graphs, and charts, for the whole population of our country, regardless of class, or race, were getting evermore positive until about 1970-1974. Then specifically in wealth, and income, they stalled, then started to decline, evermore quickly for an ever larger proportion of the population. The middle 20% has remained the same. All stats for the lower 40% has slowly gone into reverse, yes reverse. The upper 20% is increasing, while the top 1% are just raking almost all the gains.
Blaming the middle 20%, or especially the lower 40%, as lazy, or stupid is both lazy, and stupid. Telling people to get a job, a education, and work like a dog until they die, and then call them losers when they haven't a penny to leave their family is just BS.
While we all debate over what ever kind of economic system is better, here a few stats along with a news article to get you thinking.
BTW, the top chart is for the top tenth of the top 1% which shows them having around 25% of the wealth, or about the the combined wealth of the bottom 80%.

It needs to be fixed on the Liberty side of the line which, unfortunately, has been co-opted by the 1%. We need a Righty Bernie Sanders.

Fucking populist race hustler.
Although he was involve directly in civil rights when Jim Crow was still a thing, Sanders has been screaming nonstop about poverty, and later the evils of banks, and the increasing income/wealth disparity for 5 plus decades now.
How does acknowledging racial issues, however poorly, after being jumped on by Black Lives Matter, make him a race hustler?
A case could be made that since minorities suffer more than others under this wholesale economic corruption, nepotism, and flatout robbery that everyone else is also enjoying that he should have focus during the entire preceding 49 years more on minorities!

Upton Sinclair had a nice explanation for at least some of the missing recognition, especially by those, like the elites who benefit from this, and the people they pay to give excuses for not changing the system.
I used to say to our audiences: "It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends upon his not understanding it!"
