They are kits; it would take a few days for an amateur to put one together.

It's not. He builds all the guns on his channel from scratch. Did you even watch it? :?

He's got to be careful... the way he heat treated the barrel and I can tell by the coloration that it's not entirely hardened correctly... if anything the barrel is going to be brittle in some cases, he is going to see some stress fractures in it after a while if he uses a microscope...

I am not saying his idea isn't a good one, just be cautious about how things are treated.. doing it wrong can lead to a more dangerous result than the bullet coming out of the gun...

Rust inhibiting grease is great. Oil will run off too easily, but if you get some good grease, it will stay there for decades, preventing rust.

My german mauser was drenched in some cosmoline or equivalent at some point after WW2, and it still looks like it was made yesterday.

Think this is the closest thing to cosmoline you'll find today: https://www.brownells.com/gun-cleaning- ... 26344.aspx

Open-carrying swords legal in Texas as of today
Blades more than 5.5 inches in length are being permitted for open-carry in public places. The law, though, prohibits swords and machetes in most bars, schools, colleges, sporting events, polling places, race parks, correctional facilities, hospitals, amusement parks and places of worship.

Now I gotta search for guys in Texas walking around with Claymores, Sabers or a Gladius.

The winner
As a Texan, I can say I'm super excited for the opportunity to walk downtown between machete wielding weirdos and open carry weirdos. I feel safer already.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Tweet begins with "as a Texan" and then follows that up with supreme faggotry. Bye, Texas.
