Show was over when season 4 was a copy/paste of season 3. I was out when it was clear the ideas had dried up.

So, got a new one.
K98kf1. German mauser, rebarreled for 30-06 by the Norwegian army. Pretty much perfect condition, apart from the stock, which is decent. It even has the original sling. Missing the cleaning rod though. Made in 1938 in Lübeck, got both the Weimar eagle and the nazi eagle.
And best of all, as far as I can see, all the numbers are matching. Something that is practically unheard off when it comes to these HV-mausers.
Bought it from a nice old man who's had it since his service in the home guard, and it looks like he was the only owner of that rifle, apart from the German who brought it here.
It didn't cost much at all either. $120. By far my cheapest gun.
Now I can only get two more on the hunter's license, and I really want another Mauser, because they're so damn pretty. But I also want a Krag. And a Ruger mini-14. And a couple mausers more.
Gun regulations are too strict around these parts.

New Chef Knife for me, cost me only $50. A steal and a half, it's a custom knife too.

Ya know, sometimes when I'm out in the woods with my militia vest, hacking at old deer antlers, I wish I had a nice, custom chef's knife, to nicely dice up the herbs that I found.

Don't hate the player, hate the game. The knife goes for $250 if I bought it outright through a distributor.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Ya know, sometimes when I'm out in the woods with my militia vest, hacking at old deer antlers, I wish I had a nice, custom chef's knife, to nicely dice up the herbs that I found.
Gutting use this.
And for cutting bone, I got this for about $50 too, also handmade, forged D2 Steel.

It's a Janbiya, it's a dagger. It's a regional blade normally found between India and Saudi Arabia. It's a common knife worn and used in traditional dances.Kath wrote:I won this knife in a raffle. Is it anything interesting? (It's old and fairly beat up.) Sitting on paper 8 1/2 x 11
