Re: The Armory - Guns, Knives, and Axes
I might go into battle with all three, M16, entry shotgun, and ad hoc sniper rifle, but I wouldn't recomend going into the battle with just the hunting rifle, unless you think you're a Jedi Super Ninja who will never get into a gunfight cause they'll never see you.

Dude no scope them point blank. But seriously this is valid. The thirty cal bolt action would shine in just the right circumstances but it shouldn't be the first choice for going into battle, as in a battle where you don't have team dynamics worked out or you don't know what you will be doing.

Sniping is a team sport, two minimum, but we've actually gone to four man teams here, Sniper, Spotter, and two Security/Radiowatch.
You got three nets, PRR, Niner Tac, and the SatPhone, you need 360 degree security, you need to be able to fight your way out in a TIC, and if casualty, two to carry, one to provide cover.

So basically you're going to pick carbine ftw in any unknown battle scenario.

I'm going to pick the Para-Cdo battle rifle, like I said, DSA SA58 FAL Para with folding stock, value pick, jack of all trades, it even works fine with that cheap Russian ammo you like, Nuke, you can pick up a box of 20 TulAmmo steelcase 7.62x51mm for $6.99
I can snipe you out to 600m over iron sights, volley fire to 800m, at the same time, it's a shorty which I can go CQB with too, with folding stock for concealed/compact carry as necessary.

The DSA FAL Para's even come with rail mount on the reciever, so you could throw whatever scope on it you wanted, poor man's DMR;

Yeah, look for a second hand one, they're pricey if you buy them straight from DSA or a dealer, but I've seen people selling them for around a grand.

Gunbroker.com, somebody's asking $1000.00 for this sweet British L1A1 FN FAL, fixed stock, but it's still a tight whip.

He's got no bids, basically you just bid and see what you can get one for, if somebody gets desperate enough...
You can get a fixed stock and then order the folding stock kit from DSA and install it yourself.
