With plates? Probably not, hollow point ain't armour piercing, you want the tungsten core for that.
LOL. Hollow point 223 might not bust a fully matured grape.

If one had to use 223, then the hardest jacket you could come up with would be the only option.

Best option for .223 HP, as you probably know, is the Black Hills 77gr Sierra, but that's a hunting round, lethal expansion against a wild hog, OK, penetration against a SAPI plate, no way.

Just go shoot the SCAR 17, it will blow your mind, you can blast away with 7-6-2, but the recoil is so perfectly dampened, it feels like you're shooting 5-5-6.

It's the best of all worlds, hits like an M14, but as versatile as an AR carbine.

You talking to me or to Smits? I don't like to step on Smits' toes when somebody is talking HP shit.

My buddy worked for Colt Canada, he got me into this exclusive tactical shooting meet, all the manfacturers, trying to sell to the military and police, I shot the SCAR 17, oh fuck, I was ready to buy one right there, and I don't even have any use for one, but I was checking how much room I had on the Mastercard anyways.

It's like three grand though. I guess you can hunt with it. Why not?

$4200 Canadian, but I was like whatever, "such a deal", it's the only automatic rifle I covet, if it's not gonna be SCAR 17, then never mind.

Could easily drop another couple grand on optics. Man it sucks being poor. I'll probably just get a $800 AR and a red dot site and call it a day. I think AR's are at or near the bottom of their market price. They can only go up methinks

Yeah, the Trijicon ACOG M150, that's over a grand right there, but if you want the 6x48, that's over two grand. You want the reflex sight on top? Add another five hunge.
