I've never messed with them. I've considered buying a set a couple times, just haven't done it.

I've done a little research on the Galil, seems pretty fucking badass. I think thats one of the guns on counter strike, but I haven't played in years. I always liked the M16 and AK on source. That didn't stop me from getting killed every 15 seconds from some South Korean dipshits though.
