Nylon 66?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nylon_66

One of my grandfathers had one of those also.

We've got a couple of them in the family and I ended up with my uncles when he died. They are a very fun little gun. Good Shooters.
I have a problem with mine. It double feeds when loading the first round. But after that, will run through all 15 rounds without a hitch, every damn time. I don't know why, gotta find a good gunsmith. a lot of guys won't open 66s up.

These were cheap rifles to buy when they came out, I think around $75 bucks. For one that's been used hard, you'll pay $150 today and one in Excellent shape probably over $300. Firearms are an awesome investment.

That was kind of bizarre.

Hopefully the 50 Glocks and Barettas will go up for public auction.

Gun Nerds are hoping Trump will lift the ban on Re-Patriation of Historic Fireams to the US. There are nearly One Million historic US weapons awaiting repatriation. These include American Classics, M-1 Garand and Carbines, probably 1903 Springfields and Enfields as well. The Civilian Marksmanship Program would love to get these into their system. It would be great for Americans to have the opportunity to by these classic weapons.

If this happened would it skirt mag-size bans? My dad has a pile of M1 Carbines with the fun-size, 30 round mags

It's an Obama Exec Order that is holding, all The Trumpster has to do is kill it and CMP can import them. In South Korea alone in a holding pattern are over 87,000 M1 Garands and over 220,000 Carbinnes. Projected price for an M-1 is a paltry $220.00

If this goes through, Everyone in my family is signing up ! So hand on to those mag's AB, they will have value.
I will send you my address if you want to fire sale them :P
