I'm liking these Mark Felton Production short documentaries.
I hadn't heard of this high altitude interception before.

What happened to the blood flag? A relic of the beerhall putsch in 1926 and a highly symbolic Nazi object.

Just had what looked like a P51 Mustang fly overhead.
I wonder if it was the one from a nearby farm which crashed on landing a couple of years ago. The pilot survived but was badly hurt.
