I have a Norton 3 stone system I use in conjunction with other stone. I've used most methods. Emery clothe on glass, you name it.

Rossi 62.
You gonna strip that 1911 down in the mud in the middle of combat under fire tho? If you just crawled through a swamp, and you shoot your primary dry in contact and have to go to the sidearm, odds are, you didn't have time to stop and clean it, after you crawled out of the mire like the Swamp Thing.Fife wrote:Love the 66, its a beautiful piece. I have a thing for stainless; although I think its more about image than utility.Smitty-48 wrote:Also, S&W Mod 66 is stainless steel, so you can swim with it, and it beats a 1911 cold, if you gotta pistol whip a man to death CQC.
I won't kick it out of bed for munching crackers, but given the choice I'll take my own 1911 build 8 days a week.
