My wifes grandfather was a WWII vet, then Harley Cop, then Chief of Police.

The wifes parents have his service sidearm laying around somewhere, probably in a box being disrespected. Whenever I think about it, it drives me crazy. I've seen pics, and in the holster it looks like a Police S&W model 10. I want it so bad I can taste it, but knowing them I have to tread really lightly.

My father in law was marginally in the military Vietnam era NG, then Air NG. He's a cools guy, he's become a respectable crusty old fucker. Her mom is an Uber Prog. who disses my wife by saying I changed her and ruined her daughters politics and world view.
My inlaws are great. My father in law is a country boy, construction worker, he's not into guns, but loves muscle cars.

My mother in law is like my surrogate mom. She's German, but came to Canada as a baby so fully Canadianized, but still into everything German and speaks German.

You can preach the constitution, but nothing sells a guy on the 2A like pulling a trigger.

I'm not sold until I have no duty to retreat AND right to fatally wound intruder even if intruder had no violent intent.

Absolutely.

There's a minor group in the 2A movement, the name escapes me, that their only mission is to take out people and get them to shoot.

Man Bun guy got laid that night. For the first time in history, the chunky chick felt like she had a man.

If you can stand it, move to Florida.

Nevada has both too. Fuck Florida, I'm a wild eyed Nevadan Snowbird. Gotta have my legal dope with my guns.

Florida is too rainy as well. I hate rain.

It sounds like the best of both worlds really. Reside in Canada until the winter comes around, then go to Nevada. I'm kind of jealous.

Carson City, baby, just across the border from NoCal, I could roll down to Big Sur in about four hours.

So, I had the day off. I'm working tomorrow, but today was a freebie.

I changed the front brakes and rotors on the truck, fucked off for a bit and then headed to the local range. Because Elk season is coming quick and I want to get some rounds through the 300 Win Mag.

Google, Drive out to the local range, fucking Closed. No Joy for me.
