Cool Stuff

Metal foam stops .50 caliber rounds as well as steel – at less than half the weight

This tech has been around since 2016, it's good that it's getting recognition now.

Seems like a great way to injure an animal and let it bleed to death.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

It's a hog. Would you want to work in those fields with dozens of boars running around attacking people?

It is.
I don't like seeing animals suffer, unfortunately it has to be done at times. The animal world is cruel.

I think Monty would come around if you had a catapult mounted on the helicopter.

He'd also come around if he owned that land and had to keep cleaning up the mutilated bodies of his migrant workers every other week.

Those cholos are little dudes, man. They stand zero chance against a 200 lbs wild boar, much less four or five of them. I am sure those little shits can run fast, else how'd they run so far across the desert, evading border patrol, but those boars have good stamina. The illegal might be able to run like 20 mph, and the boar around 15 mph, but for how long can the little guy keep that lead?
