Are you thinking of Bohemian Grove?jbird4049 wrote:Makes me think of Stern Grove. Bunch of wealthy connected members who hold a private get together every year. Stern Grove is a park in San Fran.

And the elites are performing so well that the press should be kind enough to ignore it...Do these people sell papers? and ads? BS or not this stuff would have sold a lot of papers.StCapps wrote:Bilderberg is less transparent with the public about what they discuss and who attends the meetings than during Davos, but the biggest difference is the focus of the different meetings. It's basically just another brand of a Davos type meeting, except more secretive for whatever reason.Hwen Hoshino wrote:What can they talk about that they cannot talk about at Davos?
The attendees who admit to attending say that the off-record nature of the BIlderberg meetings leads to more candid discussions among attendees than more public forums. Another theory is that the public wouldn't like what they are discussing. Yet another theory is the steering committee invites influential people to attend the meeting to sell them on their agenda as being beneficial to all parties involved, and to benefit of their friends or at the expense of their enemies. Without being an insider or a fly on the wall, it's impossible to know what actually goes on during these meetings and this leads to increased speculation regarding Bilderberg in comparison to a Davos.

Just because I live in the Bay Area, you expect me to keep track of the names ?

It is not what the reporters write, or film.Hwen Hoshino wrote: And the elites are performing so well that the press should be kind enough to ignore it...Do these people sell papers? and ads? BS or not this stuff would have sold a lot of papers.
It is what the owners, through the managers, and editors, will allow to televised, or printed.
The staff does what they are told, or they are unemployed, and the news business has been is just a financial pathetic mess. So there are very few job opens, especially for troublemakers.

I'm assuming at the eastern end of the Golden Gate Park, near the headlands? That part of San Francisco is nice, but don't remember the Grove being there.TheReal_ND wrote:It's in the red woods near the state park. Beautiful country.
But I guess my memory is going, I guess I'll have to drive over and see.
