It's hard to say right now. It appears at least 70%, which is more than I need. In a week or two I will have a better feel for it.

7 cu yds of topsoil spread and tilled in. New garden fence built with a chain link gate. Raised bed for strawberries, bins for potatoes.
Now let the weeding begin.

Phase 3: mulching.

Fortunately, I have a buddy that does tree work, so this was free. I have no idea how much it is, but it’s more than 7 cu yds.

Looks like in the end about 70 % germination on the corn. It nominally made knee high by the 4th. Potatoes are in bloom. Real happy with the 2nd year garden. Onions, tomatoes, herbs, squash, all growing like crazy. Carrots were planted late, but are coming along.

The wife made 40 pints of jam last weekend, 5 gallons in 3 types, Huckleberry, Strawberry and Mixed Berry. I made 50# of sausage. All breakfast sausage. It's pretty popular, I give a lot away. 5# of pre-pressed patties, 20# packaged, and 25# stuffed in natural casings and smoked.

Chickens are doing well, I'm really thinking hard about getting a couple of weaner pigs.
