Dispatch from the Rocky Mountain West

Went to the Farm & Ranch Supply to get a new chainsaw chain today. The guy in front of me at the counter bought five AR-15s and 3 sacks of chicken feed.

Another normal day in America

Thinking about swapping my current benchmade out for the para 2.

I've been wanting to get a syperco since I lost my boker auto. I haven't done enough research on what to get. I don't mind spending a couple hundred but some of the knives are wildly overpriced as far as I can tell. I don't know what makes them so good. I suppose some must have some kind of restrictions.

Mostly just materials, and fit and finish, but they are still rather overpriced. Benchmade is worse in terms of prices. Some of their knives have plastic grips and still cost over a hundred dollars.

Para 2 is actually a decent knife and cost just under $120. That gets you G10 scales and S30V stainless steel blade. That's pretty good quality, though perhaps a good forty bucks overpriced.
