I'm not sure what the caliber limit is on center fire rifles, but I know I've seen people make 20mm Rifles, which is almost twice the size of a 50 cal, and 3x the size of a 30-06.

You can also own any firearm or artillery made before 1899. Including Canons. You can build your own Canons.
