As mentioned earlier . . . tequila, whiskey, and vokda have zero carbs.
I've managed a half bottle of Pinoit Noir without breaking keto as well.
Unfortunately, alcohol can get that blood glucose spiking like mad, and that can lead folks down the path to temptation.
And I've broken keto, twice since February. Voluntarily. Because it's a lifestyle that gives me an edge, but when I'm in Leavenworth WA I'm eating brats and knocking down German beers like anyone else.
It's a choice, not a life sentence.
After having my fun, I prep for another round of carb flu and launch myself back in.

All alcohol is basically empty calories but I still understand why I would drink them. Even beer- certain brands can be funnier than drinking liquor.

Today I ate four beers and am working on a fifth. It's like liquid bread in a can. Or rather liquid slavery in a can.
Fun fact: the pyramids were built with beer

I'm looking at the Histomap for the 50th time on the new Histomap thread (This time better than ever with the awesome MHF image capabilities; thx Calif., thanks Martin; /salute), and I'm reminded how fat the beer drinking cultures are on that stream.
There's something that the Woodrow Wilsons of the modern world cooked up for our fat diabetic asses that isn't apparent on the Histomap. Just sayin.

Sumerians invented ale. Just saying.
Beer may be the basis of civilization. In a way I'm not a hopeless drunk but in fact one of the most civilized human cattle in existence....
