My first slingshot was made out of a tree branch and an old bicycle inner tube.

I'm sure you could manage to make one of those without too much trouble.

For survival uses, you'd be better off building a slingbow. That will actually get you small game no problem. Good luck trying to kill rabbits with rocks and ball bearings in a normal slingshot.

Strap a 50 lbs band on that bad boy and buy some decent arrows.

That's what a slingbow is.

You can use it to fish too.

In a bind, even your small kids could collect some rabbits with a slingbow.

Stock up on some Theraband Gold. It's the best and most powerful rubber bands out there. Keep a roll in your BOB.
