If you want a safe space go somewhere else, period. This group has never operated like that, and never will.

FIFY
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

ain't that the joke of the week.

dipshit threatened to sue because someone misquoted him.

and staunchly believes in policing speech to the point of imprisoning people for disagreeing with the official government history

and this bitch thinks of himself as a lion and calls others sheep.

fucking clown.

bye.

Oh Grumps and I tried, we tried really hard but he is simply not interested. I think that his main reason is the time he now has for real life pursuits. We have regular discussions about cooking and preserves still but rarely talk about politics any more.

It is not our fault that folks like drtrech, kath, ooky and monte began to self censor because they were afraid to defend their opinion in a thread with minimal backup, the rest of us simply aren't big enough pussies to have that deter us from posting here. Monte and the others, on the other hand was just looking for an excuse where they can blame us, so that it's easier for them to leave and retreat to a safe space.

The only people shutting the conversation down around here are those who are self censoring and blaming others for attempting to shut down the conversation. The people who complain the most about the conversation being shut down are those who are shutting down the conversation the most often, but they simply won't stop and look and the mirror, they are too busy pointing fingers at others who are far less to blame than themselves.
