Re: Rethinking Cultural Marxism
Life would be a lot easier for everyone if the unmotivated, non-fiscally driven, porch dwellers *would* be quietly content.
Yet the fact that one of the two major political parties is built entirely upon class envy (and identity politics) seems to indicate that they're *NOT* content. They're angry. And even though they haven't done the work, achieved the training, or put in the hours that the fiscally successful have - they sure feel like they are entitled to a five star lifestyle.
Hence a major point of political and social contention.
Fuck, I wish they would just chill and be realistic. I wish they'd say to themselves "As long as I have my beer and weed I don't really care if I have the new iPhone, or a fast internet connection, or a fast car". But that doesn't happen. Instead they sit on their porches, smoke their weed, drink their beer, and bitch about how the 1% is stealing from them and blather a bunch of "eat the rich" jibber-jabber.
Sad.

Re: Rethinking Cultural Marxism
If you all are going to go back and protect your heritage from the cultural Marxists, you may have to come to terms with your origins within the British Empire...
Pay your dues to Her Majesty bitches!!
Maybe even The Pope!
You see where this returning to your roots is taking you.
If you are going to turn back the revolution... this is what you must embrace.

British royalty has little to do with Teutons, Celts, or the HRE so I can’t really “rewind” to Victorian England.

What, are you trying to "decolonize" history?DBTrek wrote:British royalty has little to do with Teutons, Celts, or the HRE so I can’t really “rewind” to Victorian England.
You Americans were always more vigorous revolutionaries... and perhaps that makes your version of cultural Marxism more threatening.
Us Canadians were able to work things out with our heritage... we didn't quite throw our "oppressive" heritage under the bus.
We've even kept our Queen.
All our multicultural newcomers swear allegiance to our heritage.
Keep your curries and your headscarves but "bend the knee".
Maybe we Canadians got something right when it comes to preserving heritage.
