You told me that you watch Transformers the Last Knight every day before you get ready for work. Makes sense. Its one of the best films we have as a culture.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Great. More splody wire-fu bullshit.

Re: Bring it China
I think it's a problem that is just going to continue and it may also just spread into TV land as well. As of now, Hollywood DOES cater to China and their censors because China only allows 34 films, that are not Chinese, into the country and Hollywood sees it as a giant brand maker and also a $$$ generator.Hwen Hoshino wrote:https://www.forbes.com/sites/scottmende ... 5b3c231f61
Please let there be movies more truly Murican instead of watered down global blockbuster wannabes.

There are so many tv shows made in the US... China also loves Kdrama and made a couple of decent tv shows itself i don't see why you should be worried.Penner wrote:I think it's a problem that is just going to continue and it may also just spread into TV land as well. Re: Bring it China
They will just start to cater to the Chinese censors in the same way the movies are trying to. Remove/downplay anything mystical/fantasy (or give it a sci-fi bent), start to make China more and more important to the shows that they are filming. Like make a major character from China and/or set something in China, etc....Hwen Hoshino wrote:There are so many tv shows made in the US... This is pretty shocking.
White House chief of staff General John Kelly reportedly physically confronted a Chinese official who tried to get access to America’s “nuclear football
Kelly ensured thet security of the Football. Kelly had an awesome MAGA response to mending fences with the China

I don’t get it. They tried to grab the thing, or thought it was a suitcase? Lol there must be more to this.

Re: Bring it China
The way I took it, a Chinese agent attempted to get control of the Nuclear Football, and Kelly got physical to prevent it.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Sat Oct 13, 2018 11:20 pmI don’t get it. They tried to grab the thing, or thought it was a suitcase? Lol there must be more to this.
If it was a mistake, I don't think Kelly would be demanding the apology he is demanding.
