Depending on the gun, you can have the hammer fire the round... but even if he didn't pull the trigger, he shot the gun.
What if it was a Pietta .45 Colt Army Single Action, built off the original Colt plans ? Would that gun fire a round without pulling the trigger ?
Remind me again, does that have a half-cock function, or is it one or the other... it's been a while since I've seen an original colt...
