Here's where the "Echo Chamber" thing comes from:

We don't have any Collectivists on this forum. Remember, liberty is: "the wants of the individual supersede the needs of the group," and Collectivism is the opposite of that. We all just assume our individual liberty comes first, we take it for granted, and we debate as if that's a given. To a Collectivist, since all our arguments are based on the premise of liberty, everything we say seems to sound the same.

When you go to a Collectivist-based forum, the assumption is the opposite, so everything sounds the same over there too.

Well . .. give the collectivists their own part of the forum, then.
One where they can come together and ban any other member of the forum from that section if they like - because there's nothing that gets a collectivist all riled up like ostracizing the wrong-thinker.


Then you can have two parallel echo chambers.

Shunning is a mainstay Collectivism social-penalty strategy. Also, Scorn & Ridicule are biggies.

yes... We certainly don't see that sort of thing amongst the right-leaning members of this forum, do we.
