It is. But the actual evidence that is presented is quite compelling. If they find that nazi sub in the Argentinian bay then I am all in. It has all their typical shitty hallmarks of drama creating stuff but the bare bones of the presentation and findings.... The people involved are not your typical television jokers.

Pass on it sight unseen? Fair enough. Not very open minded though. I am telling you, 2 shows in and you are gonna be hooked. It is all more than plausible crossing over into the very likely scenario. As if, Hitler's back up plan was a bullet to the brain in some bunker to be found out by some Russians.

Certainly a painkillers addict after the assasination attempt.
He was on opioids, then? He was most certainly always high, I mean he was either an opioid addict or was a meth head. One of the two and he got the shakes because he didn't have his supply at the end.

I might have caught like one episode but the show is built on sand/shaky ground.

Just by flipping through the channels. Still, it's loose premise and even if he did survive then why didn't he try to retake Germany?

Perhaps he was broken by the loss of the war and realization of his responsibility for the suffering, especially that of the Germans he once professed to want to help. Dan references him as developing a slight version of such a complex in GotO after Stalingrad.

And in my soul am free,
Angels alone that soar above
Enjoy such Liberty" - Richard Lovelace

Who knows? The show postulated that his main goal was a retaliatory strike at the US. Russia and the West would be two major reasons why he wouldn't have chosen to retake Germany, though. He might as well have shot himself in that bunker if that was his backup plan. The Hitler body in Moscow is female, btw.

Do you disagree that there was a large nazi contingent in South America? The rat lines weren't real? You flipped through but did you watch and listen to the evidence that was presented? Other nazi officers got out but it is unlikely that Hitler did? There was some serious evidence presented of a clear path from the bunker to an airfield through Franco's Spain to the Canary Islands and on to Argentina. With documentation and eye witnesses all along the way. If you have anything that derails that chain of evidence I would love to read it.

If the Soviets didn't have Hitler's body then I am sure they would've hunted him down. And if not the Soviets then Holocaust survivors would hunt him down. Did you know that Isreal sent assassins out to kill some of the remaining high-ranking Nazis that escaped justice.

Hell, Israel capped the people from the '72 olympics years after it happened. It was only recently that people realized that the Soviets didn't have Hitler's body.

You are sure... Got it. I am sure that there was a whole Nazi sympathetic community setup in the jungles of Argentina. I saw it and saw the documentation of declassified documents.

That is the weirdest thing about this show/idea. People will kneejerk react towards a narrative that goes against the evidence because if the latter was true?? Holy shit. If Hitler did die of old age?? How many people would that fuck up mentally? Cosmic justice is a myth and this single story would confirm that.

He was not a well man physicaly or mentaly by the end so even if he had survived the war he wouldn't have lasted long.
Not convinced myself. If he were going to skip Berlin he wouldn't have waited till the Russians were only a block away. He'd have left with the likes of Martin Borman and others way before then.
Also plenty of witnesses to say he died such as his secretary who stayed right to the end and was disgusted when he dictated his will because she was expecting to hear a decent justification for what he had done to Germany and got none. Trudie something or other.

Anyway DBTrek is going to be flattered when he see's how many posts there are in this thread then pissed to read that most of it is about Hitler.
