Ingress is a mobile GPS-game, the precursor to Pokemon GO. Pretty fun. Pretty much played by people 30-40+. I play it on and off (and have listened to a fair share of Dan Carlin while gaming).

I am also in love with my GF of six years (MAN time flies), Norwegian/Swede. She also plays Ingress ;)

Yup. People often do, it can lead to truly impressive fields. What you need to do is to get a "key" to the portal you are linking to, which you get from standing at that spot and interacting with the portal ("hacking"). As long as there is a path between them without any blocking links you can link them up.

I haven't done so myself, as I have not joined any huge fielding operations yet. So I neither have the keys, nor bulldozing teams to clear a path ;)

The enemy is throwing a large field over Skagerak as we speak (DK to west of Oslo to east of Oslo).

There was one where they linked Hawaii - California, catching the big cities in a huge field that was really hard to take down. The anchor portals was at a hawaiian vulcano and 2 days trek into bear country ;)

Out of interest, did you find the MHF after the DCF shut down, if so how?
