What can I say, I cut my teeth during the Dows plunge to 6500. Needless to say a lot of posters at that time were Ron Paul 2008 folk, anti-Fed af. economic discussions were near as prevalent as SJW threads are today.

I was fairly certain eliminating the Fed would force the Federal govt to downsize and stop interventions because cheap money would no longer be available.
