It's a big lie to say that Punk rock girls were interesting, they weren't interesting at all, they were suffering from arrested development, they were 17 going on 13, seniors in high school acting out like they were in grade 6, Disco girls were more grown up, they had jobs, they had cars, they were looking to go out and have a good time, and maybe they'd let you in their panties, if you were prepared to join them in wannabe grown up world, Punk rock girls meanwhile; passed out in the corner in a pool of their own vomit.

Punk, is for hanging out with the lads, moshing, drinking beer, and smashing the bottles after, but if you're looking for tail, of course you're going to the disco, I mean, duh.
Plus they at least had something to talk about apart from Shalamar and the fuckin BeeGees.
I'll take that thought to bed with me, thanks......

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

It's all bitter after taste with you isn't it? Clearly what us true believers would have called a "Plastic Punk" did you use the spray on blue hair dye so you could wash it off and go back to being a square after the gig?Smitty-48 wrote:It's a big lie to say that Punk rock girls were interesting, they weren't interesting at all, they were suffering from arrested development, they were 17 going on 13, seniors in high school acting out like they were in grade 6, Disco girls were more grown up, they had jobs, they had cars, they were looking to go out and have a good time, and maybe they'd let you in their panties, if you were prepared to join them in wannabe grown up world, Punk rock girls meanwhile; passed out in the corner in a pool of their own vomit.

Oh no, I just listened to Punk along with all sorts of other types of music, I liked certain Punk albums, but I didn't dress up in outfits or anything like that, I was a Jock, I played hockey and football, I wasn't a dandy who pranced about with make up on, or shit like that, I just had eclectic taste in music.Montegriffo wrote:It's all bitter after taste with you isn't it? I didn't discriminate against people, I would hang out with all sorts, mind you, if some dress up pansy like yourself lipped off to me, I probably would have smashed your teeth in, as I said, I was a hockey player.

And I was a rugby player, a game played hard without the helmets and protective padding of you hockey chaps. I was alpha too, just didn't mouth off about it all the time.....

Pfft, rugby is for pouffes, repressed homosexuals, sometimes not so repressed. No helmets and padding, because you just wanted to wrastle with other dudes in short shorts.Montegriffo wrote:And I was a rugby player, a game played hard without the helmets and protective padding of you hockey chaps. Rugby players don't fight, they only got one move, they try to tackle everything, it's rugby, not jiu-jitsu, so don't bother trying to front, you rugby players rely on bluff, you think, hey, I play rugby, so they think I'm tough, but one shot to the jaw, and you're out like a light.
You can't fool me, mate, I've lived in the UK, soccer players are the hooligans, rugby players are dandies.

Pah, soccer players, they're the ones falling over and writhing around in phoney agony if you get within 6 feet of them remember?
The six Nations starts on Saturday, expect a lot of rugby talk for the next few weeks......

Soocer itself is not the tougher game, I'll give you that, but the hooligans play soccer, they're not toughs because they play soccer, they're just toughs, who happen to play soccer, because soccer is the game of the working classes. Rugby on the other hand; public school dandies.
