I remember seeing that movie when I was a kid. I thought it was okay but now with everything we know about Bill Crosby, yeah, it's weird.

I still dig Michael Jackson's music. Has nothing to do with who he was outside of that - I didn't know the guy. But Thriller is freakin' classic.

Oh man, I love the Jackson 5. Weirdly though, they're much creepier to me than MJ solo. I guess I just grew up seeing him as-he-became, and imagining the horrors of his childhood kind of taints the image for me.

Anyway, the music is just damn good. Regardless of anything else.

Got to remember at the time of Thriller I was a full on Punk rocker going to see the likes of the Stranglers, the Damned and the Dead Kennedys. Disco was the enemy.

Best band I ever saw. I climbed on stage during Holiday in Cambodia and stage dived off when Jello pointed out that back home they didn't wait for security to throw people off. Happy days....

I remember it like it was yesterday, Peter and the Test Tube Babies were the support and he climbed to the top of a speaker stack during the act, fell off and hurt his back but carried on to the end of the set in obvious pain. I'd guess it was 1980, damn I'm old....

Yeah, it's weird to think that you know a celebrity then have it revealed that a bunch of women had accused him of drugging and then raping them- you kind of have to question what the hell you liked about that celebrity and if their works are still good (and the thing is Ghost Dad didn't hold up very well but MJ's music did), even in the light of everything they were accused or and/or did.

Punk, is for hanging out with the lads, moshing, drinking beer, and smashing the bottles after, but if you're looking for tail, of course you're going to the disco, I mean, duh.

Please, most of them were going out of their way to make themselves look hideous, daddy issues or whatever, "look at me, daddy, I've dressed up like a zombie and driven a spike through my nose, how you like me now?"
