There is a difference between not seeking friendship and talking shit about a dead man in the closest thing that passes for a memorial in the social context.

I am speaking to you as a huge anti-socialite with high skill at making enemies and sabotaging relationships. There was a line there that even I would never cross. If you don't have anything good to say about the person, then just walk away.

For half a fucking second imagine what would have happened if you said that at a physical memorial or funeral with grieving friends. Use your imagination. What exactly do you think the friends would do?

Narcissism means you can have no real friendship and no meaningful relationships. It's a disease for a reason. We are talking about the kind of men that are so self-absorbed, their idea of intimacy is a form of masturbation using their wife's vagina. They are the kind of men who cannot even attend a funeral without making a scene because they are not the subject of attention. It's a seemingly unending sequence of burned bridges, emptiness and, ultimately, loneliness because, in the pursuit of attention, the narcissist is ultimately alone. He is unable to sympathize with others, much less form meaningful bonds.

Basically, it's a living hell.
