The correct position on this is................ the Government has no business being involved with marriage or relationships at all, other than protecting those that cannot protect themselves such children, animals and the dead.

The entire reason this is a social issue for us is that the government is involved and gives benefits to the married. End government involvement, end the debate. Increase Liberty.

It's like the Abortion debate that tears the country apart. The only real question is when life begins. The pro life crowd has a done a good job in courts, but a shitty job talking about this key point.

For me, Pro Lifers should start an education campaign centered on the fact that at the moment of conception, unique human DNA is formed.

Now for pure political purposes, Pro Lifers should be ready to settle at 1st Trimester abortions. Simply because a vast majority of Americans are OK with that, it gets rid of the rape argument, the eptopic pregnancy, all of it.

First 2 months is already a fait accompli: RU-486 is as available as marijuana. 50% of all “abortions” are already RU-486 so the numbers are misleading.

States that make RU-486 illegal are turning half their population into criminals.

Ectopic pregnancy isn’t considered pregnancy. It requires a medical procedure that isn’t an abortion. If allowed to proceed, it will kill the woman.
