How do people not remember this type of shit? Who still consider these people as their betters? That's the existential disconnect that I am having.

Same people who look at the US being $28trillion in debt, our crumbling infrastructure, our rampant homelessness, and say to themselves "The problem is we haven't given the government enough money yet".
Because apparently 245 years of taxies on our entire national GDP, plus $28trillion of debt, isn't enough to fix a bridge.

I don't even know what to say to these people ... except maybe try to get a handle on how big a trillion is? Then multiply that 28 times. Then explain to me how that wasn't enough money to fix 'X' problem.

They are all Boomers, they got their good jobs, or their wealth secured, then when they were in power they sold the entire fucking country out to ChiComms and Globohomos to increase their Wall Street portfolio. They bitched about unjust war, but waged it themselves with no intent on winning. Essentially the Boomers got to the top, said fuck the all the younger generations and pulled the ladder up behind themselves.

Note:
I'm Gen X, my generations war was Gulf War 1. We are the only Generation since WWII that went out and kicked assed.

It all comes down to the number of votes each side can muster. The Socialists have feminists, minorities & weirdos, and The Fascists have old white guys, and some of their families. The voting block I used to be in isn't going to vote for Socialists nor Fascists. As I've predicted before, I think Socialists got it pretty easily, and their numbers are growing, while the Fascists are dying off.

How many votes you can muster, or how many votes you can manufacture ?

2 million illegal migrants have come in since Biden. There's easily another 5 million coming. They already had a significant majority before that.

If the choice is between public-elites authoritarianism that at least pretends to be a meritocracy, or private-elites authoritarianism where nepotism is the only way to achieve anything, why would they change their voting pattern?
