we live under the specter of miscalculation at all times anyways

we are at 15 minutes notice to launch on warning, they are at 15 minutes notice launch on warning

there is nothing saying you can't have a miscalculation without a theater war in progress

so both sides are aware of the miscalculation paradigm, it's not preventing them from preparing to fight and win theater wars
Well ... it's preventing US, dude.
When was the last time we won one of these fuckers?
Panama?

Everything after that has been an invasion followed by a permanent occupation - but no real victory.
I don't know. I guess we got Bin Laden and Hussein ... but we also still have troops out there doing jack shit but being sitting ducks two decades later. Is that a win?

I'm not advocating for a theater thermonuclear war in the Black Sea

but I mean, Obama went in there with INF's & BMD's and pulled a regime change move in Ukraine

I'm just watching what the Neoliberals are doing

and how the Russians are responding

and then extrapolating where this is going

it's like the Republicans blew up the treaties, Bush with ABM 72' & Trump with INF' 87

but then it's the Hawkish Clintonian Democrats who are taking that ball and running with it

this is how they backed into the Cuban Missile Crisis

Eisenhower set the stage, then Kennedy had to prove he was tougher than Eisenhower

domestic partisan politics is shaping the nuclear battlefield, is in fact the main driver

Dude, you're just trying to hypnotize Hash with all that Kennedy adoration.
Making speeches and pointing at a camera doesn't make you tougher than the General who led the D-Day invasion.
C'mon, man.

Dude, for a guy who still has his hair, you’re not the one to talk. Kennedy’s hair was a masterpiece, especially compared to ol’ Baldy.

well I don't adore John Kennedy, but I do like him, it's not like I am saying he was nefarious

he did in the end get America out of the corner that he backed her into, at Cuba

Vietnam is another case, but I don't actually blame America for going into Vietnam, it was misguided, but not wrong

I certainly aspire to a Kennedy-esque lifestyle

except for cheating on my wife

I party like the Rat Pack, my wife is just at the party with me

Sounds like you have a lot of hooch to bootleg over the Great Lakes ahead of you.
