Biggest flaw with the AR is the charging handle, you have to come off sight picture to cock the action
How many times do you have to do that?
Only takes one loss in a gunfight, so I fight to win.
Yes but you only would do that for a jam. Otherwise you should be good.

A stoppage can come at any moment, you could load make ready and right out of the gate : stoppage

I'm ready for a stoppage at all times, they happen all the time with all automatic weapons.

Cock the action the and go on without ever coming out of sight picture

Gunfights go down in split seconds.

Speed, violence, aggression, prepare yourself for worst case scenario, all contingencies

The other thing about FN FAL is that they last forever

I was using FN FAL from the 1950's in the 1980's

You can hand a FN FAL down to your great grandson and beyond.

Meanwhile I've broken a few AR's, and I even had one blow up on me on the range.

AR is like a toy gun. FN FAL is built to last.

FN FAL is repetition, even the Canadian Army ones I was using were repetition only

You don't need automatic fire with a rifle anyways, it's only for suppression, leave that to the machine guns

It's all about the shooter : your speed, your violence of action, your aggression to fight and win

There is actually a way you can make a repetition FN FAL fire auto

You take a match stick and depress the seer, but it will fire the whole magazine at once, so not tactically useful

I never said I was using an automatic FN FAL. You can't buy one anyways, all American FN FAL are repetition only
