Just attended a Trans education session
It would have made your hair curl.
Casually referring to this pathway to hormonal therapy and surgery in children...
and enthusiastically speaking about the increase in ease of access to these radical irreversible procedures.
As if it's an absolute given that radically altering biology and human flesh is reasonable in immature human beings.
Under the warm guise of "gender affirmation"...
It made me feel queasy.
I maintained my composure and asked some on point questions...
But the Koolaid is too potent...

I wonder how people can talk about this and firmly believe they are saying sane things.

These doctors take no risks and pay no penalty when this type of thing inevitably leads to harm.
If they had to pay a financial cost commensurate with the harm they inflict when their risky procedures go wrong, they would not be peddling them. I am coming to the opinion that one ought to avoid every doctor except perhaps the oncologist.

You really have to look closely to see if it is actually worth it.
And then there are the unnecessary surgeries for nearly benign conditions... but I think that's getting better.

Not to worry, after three or four generations, after the political power lusting cons who foisted this upon our society are dead, and the people witness the men and women with shattered psyches because they were pushed into therapy and surgery as children, this terrifying social contagion will reach its horrible conclusion. Or maybe real medical professionals will stand up to this, at great cost to their careers and social standing no doubt, will fight back and we can avoid all of that.
