Trade Johnson too obviously, him most of all. Johnson, Barrie and Zadorov could net a real nice return as long as we don't get too desperate to dump them for just anything. Sakic isn't the kind of guy to make a trade just to make a trade though, he waits until someone wants to get fleeced.

And don't forget the second pick.

In terms of forwards, secondary scoring, 16th overall could be Lavoie, Newhook, Suzuki or Kayilev

If the Avs don't make it to the Conference finals, otherwise it will be a lower pick.

Lavoie; 6'4" 200 lbs, C/RW

He could end up being a Cozens or a Dach, or at least something close to.

Pekka Rinne falling apart during the playoffs as usual. Poor Man's Fleury, all the chokeage without the one Cup run to go with it.

Outside of Hughes and Kakko it's a crap shoot.

You don't know who might fall.

Podkolzin could fall to 16th.

Lavoie and Suzuki could be at 17, 18, 19, who knows.

If Podkolzin falls to 16th, the league is retarded. I get the Russian factor, but that would be ridiculous.

You never know, Hughes, Kakko, Byram, Dach, Cozens, after that, things get muddy.

He likes playing in Russia sure, but he also said his dream is to play in NHL, if he falls outside of the top 10, that's just silly. A lot of people have him as the number three prospect, and he's not the typical Russian floater, he's an energizer bunny with a motor that never stops. He's well rounded, really good defense for a winger, with mad grit, he drives the puck to the dirty places, he's got the hands, he's got the shot.

Fuck if the league want to let him fall that far, the Avs will take him for sure.
