Nashville is pooping the hammock against the Stars.

Heiskanen has already altered the Stars, he's stabilized that defense.

That defense used to be feeble, but now they've got Klingberg and Heiskanen.

Nashville 17 giveaways against only 5 for the Stars.

It's not that the Stars are playing so great, Nashville just keeps giving the puck away.

Trying to do too much at once, they're feeling the pressure but they're not taking care of the puck.

Nashville feels the sense of urgency, but it's making them squeeze their sticks.

They're not calm cool and collected, when they get their scoring chances they are blowing them high and wide.

Seguin is bringing his A game.

Bishop looks solid.

Just that has Dallas on a bit of a high.

Number one center, number on goalie, both in the groove.

Dallas just looks hungrier. More desperate. They're just sick of losing, so they are all in more than Nash right now.

Bottom line, if you're commiting to Makar and Girard;

I don't think Zadorov and Barrie are a fit as complementary pieces.

Zadorov - Makar ; Zadorov is a weak link in the top pair.

Girard - Barrie ; two small rushing D is not complementary.

It's like with the Leafs;

I wouldn't play Sandin and Liljegren as a pair in the NHL.

I would play Liljegren with a grinder like Dermott.

Sandin I would actually play with Zaitsev until I found a better option.

When Muzzin goes, may have to make another trade to complement Rielly on the top pair.

That guy could just be a steady eddie tho, Hainsey 2.0

Rielly - Pesce

Dermott - Liljegren

Sandin - Zaitsev
That's why some say we should draft Byram, so they can have Byram-Makar as that future top pairing.

Now that is a good idea. Byram - Makar. Boom.

Draft Byram, Barrie and Zadorov to upgrade the forward group with some extra depth. Certainly an option worth considering.

Because Byram is actually chippy. He's got bite, he's two way, he plays heavy, and he's gonna get big like Morgan Rielly.

Byram is kinda like a Giordano. He's offensive, but he also plays physical and grinds.
