The infectious disease expert on CTV news has just pretty much said everything I said earlier

1. "Flattening the Curve" is faith based, it's not a proven method, it's just rhetorical

2. Close the borders ; too late

3. Community spread is in effect, testing for the virus is now pointless

4. The shutdown is inflicting massive economic carnage while at the same time having no useful effects

5. Forget about trying to put the genie back in the bottle, the priority should be defending the hospitals

The way they are going, cascading panic shutting everything down everywhere, they could incite a depression

Like I say, you can't stay shutdown, so many people thrown out of work, two paychecks away from bankruptcy, so many businesses bankrupt, at the same time with effectively negative interest rates, panic buying can go away and be replaced by a wage and price spiral.

Interesting times.
SJWs are a natural consequence of corporatism.

More like boring times, because party pooping SIFCLFs have to ruin everyone's good time and shut everything down.

This is why I looked to USAMRIID over the CDC

The CDC is too political, they will say whatever the politicians want them to say, what people want to hear

The Army on the other hand would do triage and prioritize

This is in effect a CBRN military emergency, and the priority should be to defend the hospitals ruthlessly

War is boring ; warning order, stand to, commence battle procedure, check and test equipment, stand by.
